The Niseko region famed for its “champagne powder” and amazing amounts of snowfall was barely known to foreigners, outside of a few dedicated snowboarders and skiers, 15 years ago. As more and more people came to experience the regions fantastic winters the area began to open up and tourists became aware of Niseko unique place in the world. Niseko’s has become a premier winter destination not only thanks to its amazing environment and abundant world-class produce but, more importantly, the people of the area who have a welcoming, relaxed take on Japanese culture.  

Niseko during the green season is exceptional with the milder climate making it a great place to escape the heat further south. The sunny days are perfect for exploring the mountain hiking trails, many rivers and lakes of the region. Only a short drive away you can choose between the Sea of Japan to the West and the Pacific Ocean to the south. The region is fast becoming a summer destination; the summer months continue to become more and more popular amongst domestic and international tourists with record numbers this year.
